Your treatment options
Thread lifts have low invasiveness, minimal complications, minimal discomfort, and immediate effect. With a thread lift treatment, we are able to create lift by using a special thread weave and polydioxanone (PDO), which has properties that stimulate the synthesis of collagen and elastin. PDO is a strong synthetic fibre consisting of one (monofilament) or two twisted solid fibre (mono spiral, double spiral HOOKS) threads, which dissolve in the tissue after approximately six to eight months.
Thread lifts are ideal for skin rejuvenation, smoothing wrinkles, narrowing your pores, skin tightening, increasing your skin volume, and lifting your skin.
Micro-needling is when we use a hand-held medical device to create thousands of micro-medical needle columns in your skin. Each column will penetrate into the dermis of the skin and will be approximately 0.1mm in width. The columns will close rapidly causing the skin to recover quickly – often in the same day – but will be significant enough to trigger your body’s natural healing response and stimulate new collagen, fresh skin cells and enhanced blood supply.
Although it can take up to six weeks for the results of a micro-needling treatment to be fully appreciated, you will be left with a natural and long-lasting enhancement that not only tightens your skin but also gives your skin tone and texture a fantastic boost.
